Blender Ship Wake Testing
Some experimenting with upcoming Blender 2.61 features.
I used ocean modifier to create the general sea motion and Dynamic Paint to generate the ship trail: A wave surface for the wake itself and a basic "Paint" surface as a foam mask.
Finally, the animation was rendered with the Cycles render engine over night.
The ship model was downloaded from BlendSwap. ("Tall Ship" by Natholas)

Ive been trying to make an animation using ships: the sea is pefect, the trail fine but Its the foam that is the real problem! If anyone could explain how to make the foam it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
