Some random testing. I used Dynamic Paint textures to emit light for Blender 2.5x indirect lightning system.
Because the current "indirect lightning" implementation operates on mesh face level, I had to subdivide the walls to get all those small texture details to emit light. The final scene has ~1M vertices.
